One of these famous buildings would be Taj Mahal which is a seventeenth century marble mausoleum which is located on the south bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city Agra.
It is famous for its mosque and perfectly symmetrical gardens. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, which is a home to his favorite wife’s Mumtaz Mahal’s tomb.
Who was a Persian princess who died giving birth to her 14th child. The original building structure was built in the 1632 but it did have more work done to it after.
Since it’s such a huge touristic attraction 7-8 million people travel to visit it ever year. It is definitely worth the visit and worthy of your artsy Instagram posts.
There are many beautiful waterfalls in India one of these would be the Chitrakote Falls. This is a natural waterfall located 38 kilometers to the west of Jagdalpur, on the Indravati River.
Its height is 30 meters and has 3 drops in total. It is the widest waterfall in India it is often called the Niagara falls of India. The views are absolutely breath taking definitely something you should have on your bucket list and at night it reveals even more beauty.
The Lotus Temple
The Lotus Temple is located in Delhi, India a house of worship completed in 1986. Well known for its flower like shape, it is definitely a prominent attraction in the city.
The Lotus Temple is open to everyone regardless of your religion or qualifications. Its structure is 27 free standing, marble-clad ‘’petals’’ arranged in clusters to form three sides.
It has nine doors that all lead onto a central hall which is just over 40 meters tall. It can hold up to 2,500 people at a time. In 2001 it was referred to as one of the most visited buildings in the world which definitely is worth a visit as the sight is astonishing.
Humayun’s Tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by the emperors first wife Empress Bega Begum and chief consort in 1569-70. It was designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect who was chosen by the Empress herself. It officially opened in 1572.
Ranthambore National Park
In the northern region of India you could find many amazing attractions one better than the other one of these would be Ranthambore National Park which is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan.
It is a former hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles. Also in the park, Padam Talao Lake is known for its enormous amount of water lilies. It makes a brilliant touristic attraction good for everyone even for the young adventure seekers.
Throughout India there are many more Temples and holy grounds these would include The Golden Temple, Akshardam which is a temple for modern art and also Gurudwara Bangla Sahib which is religious site with healing waters.
Definitely more places that are worth the travel costs that bring you an amazing views and a brilliant experience.
